One child…
One book…
One community…

Our mission is to increase literacy, support families, and teach all children how to read — One child, One family, One community at a time.

imagineOne’s mission is to increase literacy. imagineOne partners with communities that are willing to help parents become active participants in their children’s learning about words, language, and reading. In these communities, imagineOne provides all families with a complete 26-volume set of My First Steps to Reading and the highly acclaimed Parent’s Guide to My First Steps to Reading. In a fun and interactive style, the books teach children the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they represent. The Parent’s Guide provides caregivers with detailed instructions on how to introduce young children to the fundamentals of reading. In collaboration with community partners, imagineOne is determined to ensure every child has an equal opportunity to succeed in school and in life.  One child, one family, one community at a time, we will achieve our goal of 100% literacy in the communities we serve.

imagineOne is a 501 (3)c not-for-profit corporation.

  • I've received positive feedback from families that the children enjoy reading the “My First Steps to Reading” books at home. One child even said "I learned that letter at school" so they are recognizing the similarity between learning materials

  • The ABC Books are a perfect extension of our curriculum. They provide another resource for our families to support instruction at school. It’s great to have a teacher set to place in the library. The students often choose them to read. They love the “I have one of these at home!” connection.

  • I love the way that these books place the pictures in the wording as the character and how they place the picture above the word so the students can also see the spelling with the picture.

    Jessica Siewerth, Voluntary Pre-K Teacher

  • Maybe you have a creative project to share with the world
